Imperial Vortex

A gelding with a top class black type pedigree coming from the family of Casual Look, Casual Smile, Shabby Chic, Fashion Statement and Magnificience. He was a sizeable 2 year old and consequently we gave plenty of time to mature both physically and mentally. Imperial Vortex has scope and size for a dual purpose career with a pedigree laden with top class staying horses. He was broken and ridden as a two year old then turned away to give him time to grow into his frame. He has developed into a really nice specimen, with scope, size and athleticism. His pre-training has gone well and we like what we have seen both in his flat work and his schooling.  He stands at 16’2 and has a long stride. We will look to get him started in bumpers and on the basis of his progress so far we would expect him to be competitive.
