We have had great success with our purchased from the Goffs Land Rover sales in previous years including Imperial Aura our latest Cheltenham Festival winner. When going through this year’s draft this horse was one which immediately made it into our notebooks. We were delighted to
secure him for a price which represents great value for a horse who is not only a cracking physical specimen but also comes from a top national hunt line. We know the family well as Imperial Racing owned Definitive Edge who was a high class hurdler for Willie Mullins. The sire, Black Sam Bellamy, is considered one of the top National Hunt stallions producing a number of top class graduates. Imperial Hurricane stands 16’2, is very athletic and a beautiful mover. Since the sales he has been broken and will be turned out for a short break before completing his pre-training education with Kevin Ross. He will be trained by Kim Bailey who needs no introduction. The plan will be to prepare Imperial Hurricane for a bumper next Spring and then onto a novice hurdling campaign in the Autumn. We are really excited to have secured his services and he is as nice an individual as we have had through our hands, and he has a big future ahead of him.
